To Our Supporters, Volunteers and Partners:                         

 

We are grateful for the support and partnership you have provided BloomAgainBklyn in the past. Once we get beyond these uncertain times, we look forward to renewing our commitment with you to help break the isolation of those at risk through the joy and beauty of flowers.  

 

In the meantime, we launched “BloomAgainBklyn Connect," which brings our volunteers together in weekly Zoom sessions to find ways to assist the people served by our community partners. We have reached out to these partners and have offered them our virtual, volunteer resources—350 volunteers strong—to help them cope with the challenges they face. The Zoom sessions also help break the isolation for those volunteers who are by themselves, provide moral support, create structure and activity to people’s days.

 

It is with great disappointment that we have had to cancel BloomAgainBklyn’s second annual Spring Fling scheduled for May 5, 2020 at Plymouth Church.  As much as we were all looking forward to this magical evening, the health and safety of our supporters, volunteers, and partners are paramount.

 

We are focused on staying connected and helping others in these unsettled times. Thank you again for your continued support. Stay well and safe.
