Agents of Change Program

BloomAgainBklyn offers a social and emotional learning (SEL) curriculum  that teaches young children how to become “Agents of Change” in their community by using the beauty and healing power of recycled flowers. The program  provides hands-on instruction on how to upcycle donated flowers as part of the goal of enhancing sustainability.  It shows students how to give back to their communities by becoming more engaged fostering intergenerational understanding between people of all ages, especially among children and older adults.  The program builds upon the concept of teamwork and working together to make the world a better place, showing students how to give back to their communities by becoming more engaged.  BloomAgain has implemented the Agents of Change program in PS 29 in Cobble Hill, PS 307 in DUMBO, PS 67 in Ft. Greene, PS 261 in Boerum Hill, The Dock School in DUMBO and Speyer Legacy School in Manhattan. Beginning in the Spring 2023, BloomAgainBklyn will be partnering with New York Edge to offer the “Agents of Change” program to an expanded roster of NYC public schools.
