Q. Where do you get your flowers?

A. The flowers are donated by Trader Joe’s in Cobble Hill Brooklyn, Opalia Flowers in Boreum Hill and Whole Foods in the Gowanus.


Q. How long do your flower arrangements last?

A. On average, the flowers will last 5-7 days or longer.


Q. How many arrangements do you deliver a week?

A. On average, we will prepare and deliver more than 200 arrangements a week.


Q. How do you choose who gets the BloomAgainBklyn flowers?

A. We work directly with local senior health care centers and leading social service agencies who work directly with seniors to help us identify recipients.  We are always looking for additional places and people to serve and would welcome any suggestions.


Q. Can one volunteer to work for BloomAgainBklyn?

A. Yes, we have limited openings for volunteers to work with us which can be in the cutting and arranging of flowers or in the pick-up and delivery of the arrangements.


Q. Does BloomAgainBklyn work with other organizations, profit or non-profit, in providing its services for special events or causes?

A. Yes, BloomAgainBklyn does work with other non-profit organizations and corporations in coordinating volunteer days for their members or employees for learning how to cut, arrange and deliver flowers to those in need.
